That is one clean f250

Personally, I think it’s peak F-250. Before Ford got carried away with chrome and funky headlights.

Unfortunately a 5.4 Triton, the LS1 in the TA makes more power. We had a V-10 Excursion before this.

I kinda like the big grill and funky headlights but I do despise all the chrome

My dad has a ‘04 with the 6.0 diesel. What a POS. Not the truck, it’s perfectly fine but that engine lives up to its reputation of being a money pit. He’s had issues with the turbo, EGR, oil cooler, and just today I had to go to his house to read a code for him (which luckily turned out to be a loose sensor connection).

The cost difference is pretty steep, and it doesn’t tow very often.

We borrowed one with that motor from a local dealer once to tow a trailer, it windowed the block. Not a great motor.

That’s putting it kindly. If the thing blew up he might be ahead because then he could make a claim on the warranty that he was duped in to buying. It only covers things internal to the engine, so the turbo, etc. aren’t covered.

We felt terrible because they let us borrow it for free, since it was for the high school band. I’m sure they just sold it for salvage (it was a barebones work truck).
